DIGITAL GRANT

This grant focused on community outreach that specifically educated Long Beach Residents and Business Owners about various digital inclusion resources and services (such as the Digital Inclusion Resources Hotline, low-cost Internet services, computers and digital literacy training). Through city resources, Ronnies House was able to distribute 111 tablets and 50 hotspots to bridge the digital gap in the city. Ronnie’s House strictly targeted vulnerable communities like Senior Citizen Groups, Low Income Mobile Home Parks, and Barbershops/Beauty Salons in Long Beach that had been greatly impacted by the digital divide as a result of the pandemic.
